By requesting a quote or placing an order with Vellore Printers (“we”, “us”), you agree to the terms below. Please read them before confirming a job.
Quotations & pricing
Quotations are valid for 15 days unless stated otherwise and may change if the specification, quantity, paper or finishing changes after quoting. Prices are exclusive of GST unless mentioned, and GST is charged as applicable.
Orders & payment
An order is confirmed once you approve the quote and proof. For most jobs we take an advance to begin production, with the balance due before or on delivery. Bulk and custom jobs may require full advance.
Artwork & proofs
You are responsible for checking and approving the digital proof — spelling, numbers, dates, contact details, colours and layout. Once you approve a proof, the job prints as approved and we cannot be held responsible for errors that were present in the approved file.
Colour variation
Printing involves natural colour variation. Colours may differ slightly from what you see on a screen, and between different papers, runs and printing methods. Where exact colour matching is critical, please ask for a physical proof before the full run.
Quantity variance
As is standard in the printing trade, delivered quantities may vary marginally (typically up to a small percentage) on large offset runs. We aim to deliver the exact quantity and will inform you of any material shortfall.
Turnaround & delivery
Turnaround times begin after proof approval and receipt of advance. We work hard to meet agreed dates, but delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control such as material supply, power or courier delays.
Changes & cancellations
Changes requested after approval, or cancellation once production has begun, may incur charges for work already done and materials already committed.
Reprints & complaints
If a job leaves our floor with a genuine production defect — a manufacturing fault, mis-registration or shade drift not present in the approved proof — we will reprint it at our cost. Please raise any complaint within 3 days of delivery with samples.
Your content & intellectual property
By sending artwork you confirm you own it or have the right to use and reproduce it, including any logos, images, fonts and text. You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from the content you supply. We may display finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
Limitation of liability
Our liability for any job is limited to the value of that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or missed events.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.
