Screens mix red, green and blue light; presses mix cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink. Some bright screen colours simply cannot be reproduced with ink, so they shift when printed.
Design in CMYK from the start, or at least preview in it, and you avoid the surprise. For brand colours that must match exactly, we print a spot Pantone rather than build the colour from process inks.
We send a proof on every job for this reason. It’s far cheaper to catch a colour shift on one sheet than on five thousand.
